Eddie Costello - Rest in Peace

The NCSMBA is saddened to learn of the death of Eddie Costello, a much loved member of the NCSMBA for many years. He died peacefully at home with his wife Joan and family after being discharged from hospital. During his playing years he played for clubs that included First Bus, County Council and Kirby Bedon before illness made it difficult for Eddie to continue playing. In 2015 he won the Potters Cup at Potters Resort in Hopton-on-Sea playing with Keith Cooke and Roger Steele. He also played for Norfolk Over 60’s and took part in many of their trips at home and abroad. One thing that fellow bowlers will all agree on is that Eddie was a kind and a gentle man and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. The NCSMBA extends their sincere sympathy to Joan and their family.
