Bure League shrinks to just four clubs

Horsford BC have followed Thorpe Marriott in informing the Bure League that they will not be competing in the league for the 2025/26 season. This leaves the Bure League with just four member clubs. This puts a question mark over the way forward for the league which consisted of nine clubs in 2017. Since that time East Tuddenham and Kirby Bedon have folded while Horsford Heroes, Woodbastwick, Windows, Thorpe Marriott and now Horsford BC have all withdrawn from the league. Two teams, Bob Carter and Watton Expendables, joined the league last season while just Halvergate and Hevingham remain in the Bure League from the clubs who took part in 2017. The Bure League Annual General Meeting will take place on Tuesday 22nd July at Hevingham Village Hall.
