Halvergate won 3-0 at Watton Expendables in the Bure Cup with Jamie Forster, Lianne Mills & Robbie Lamb producing a big 17-4 win against Simon Willies’ triple. Keith Baker, Matthew Mills & Ryan Fox added an 18-9 win against Jack Marshall’s triple while Keith Cooke’s Halvergate trio held Robin Amos’s home triple to a 16-16 draw. The only home triple to taste success were Chris Willies’ triple who won 17-11 against David Lamb. In the Breckland League second placed Connaught “A” kept in touch of leaders Wymondham with an 8-2 victory at Forncett. Leading the way were Simon Willies’ triple who beat Joe LiRocci 24-10 while Paul McDonald won 19-14 and Graham Etteridge won by 20-15. Harling won 6-4 at Hingham where Nigel Battley’s triple won 22-9 and Colin Hayman’s triple won 21-11. A tight match at Shropham saw the home side held to a 5-5 draw by Carleton Rode. The biggest win of the match was an 18-9 result in favour of Shropham’s Ian Cornwall, David Youngs & Peter Walker. South Norfolk League action saw Forncett win 6-4 at Mulbarton. In the Coastal League Woodbastwick Owls won 10-8 at home to Gorleston Links Red and the Owls are now nine points adrift of leaders Bradwell Dynamos. Gorleston Reds also lost by the same scoreline away to Martham Mallards the previous day.
