ESMBA advice regarding best practice

ESMBA Advice on Safe Practice

You are all aware that due to the unknown transmission risk of the emerging Omicron variant, Government guidance has been revised and it is again a legal requirement to wear face coverings in shops and on public transport. Member Clubs are reminded of the ESMBA advice that best practice at this time would be for clubs to revert to members wearing face coverings in all communal areas of bowls venuse and especially in pinch point areas such as entrance halls, bowls storage cupboards and toilets. For ESMBA run events a traffic light system is used to highlight areas of greatest risk of transmission, and the requirements in those areas, and clubs are encouraged to follow suit. If anyone has any queries please do not hesitate to contact NCSMBA Safeguarding Officer Mrs Elaine Willies whose contact details can be found on the Management Page of this site.
