It was a good week for Thetford in the Winter Afternoon League where they ended the unbeaten run of league leaders Diss and added an away win at Shropham Green. This moved Thetford into second place just six points behind Diss but with a game in hand. Thetford won 8-2 at home to Diss, with Dave Brown, Chloe Suffolk & Jason Martin winning 13-6 against Keith Buck, and Kate Crawshaw, Kacy Suffolk & Peter Harvey winning 13-12 against Trish Taylor. Jean Gardiner, Kacy Suffolk & Peter Harvey starred in Thetford’s 8-2 away win at Shropham Green with a 19-6 win.
