Tuddenham take 10 point lead into second leg

East Tuddenham entertained Thorpe Marriott in the first leg of their Bure Cup semi-final clash and built up a ten point lead to take to Marriott for the second leg. Two home triples scored maximum points with three wins apiece. Jean Woods, Melly Woods & Chris Willies won 6-4, 5-4 & 10-3 while Chrissie Turner, Simon Willies & John Turner won by 7-2, 6-4 & 10-7. Gillian Amos, Gerald Potter & Robin Amos were unbeaten with wins off 13-1 & 6-4 before being held to a 5-5 draw by Sylvia Turner, Richard Perkins & Kath Frost. The final score was 17-7 to East Tuddenham on points, 75-53 on shots.
