On the 18th January Norfolk “A” travelled to East Hanningfield for what has become an annual friendly against Essex “B”. Once again Norfolk recorded a comfortable victory by an 18-6 points margin winning nine of the twelve games played. Mick Colledge, Nigel Bevan and Kieran Suffolk of Thetford SMBC scored wins of 18-9 and 13-11. Two other Norfolk triples secured maximum points as well. Will Townsend, Jill Townsend and Tony Ottewell won by 14-8 and 14-9 while Joan Costello, Billie Barker and Melvyn Barker won by 15-9 and 12-9. Angela Bond, Ann Biddulph and Terry Newby won a game by 18-7, Chloe Suffolk, Jason Martin and Peter Harvey won a game by 13-9 and the other win was by 11-9 for Jenny Walker, Jill Hayman and John Norfolk.
