Two maximums for Deaf Sports

Santa Claus came early for Deaf Sports as they collected two maximum 14-0 wins to leave them celebrating a much improved City of Norwich League table position. Their first helping of Christmas cheer came at Taverham where the home side were unable to stop Deaf Sports improving on last season’s 12-2 win by this time taking all 14 points. Another 14-0 win followed at home to Jarrolds where Deaf Sports scored an impressive 76 shots against just 16 against a side sitting third off the bottom of the table. Although Deaf Sports are only fourth in the table they have games in hand on the three teams above them and a continuing winning run could see them move comfortably into the top two and put serious pressure on fellow title contenders Horsford Gold, Horsford Heroes and Thorpe Marriott. Second from bottom County Council scored only their second win of the campaign beating visitors Windows by 12-2. This left bottom of the table Horsford Blue a massive 33 points behind them as they were beaten 14-0 at home to First Bus.
