The ESMBA are to pilot a new format for the Inter-County Championships from the start of the 2020/21 season. There has been criticism for some time that the I.C.C in its present form has gone stale and various suggested formats have been submitted to the ESMBA in the past but have not resulted in any changes. But the National Body would seem to have decided that the time is now right for change and have announced their intentions with the message “details to follow.”
