The two Geoffs clinch victory

SNL action saw Saxlingham win 6-4 against Connaught in a close encounter where just two shots decided the match points. The vital wins for the home side were earned by Geoff Briggs triple, who won 19-11, and Geoff Paynes’ triple who won by 15-10. Defending champions Hempnall fielded a strong side for their visit to Wreningham where they racked up a 10-0 maximum win. Jack Pye’s triple led the way with a resounding 25-7 win, Paul Baker’s triple won 21-12, Chris Mann’s triple chalked up an 18-12 win and Neil Davidson’s triple won 16-14. Horsford Heroes entertained Hingham and both sides won two games apiece. Heroes collected the match points though for a 6-4 home win courtesy of a 19-9 win for Mally Kemp, Sue Fox & Chris Woodhouse and a 16-6 win for Carol Aggas, Richard Dix & John Aggas. In the Coastal Cup Bradwell Dynamos beat Martham 18-0 and stretched their lead at the top of the table to 21 points. Second placed Woodbastwick Eagles beat Bradwell Robins 15-3. East Tuddenham were in sparkling form away to Horsford BC in the Bure League where they won 10-0. Gillian Amos, Gerald Potter & Robin Amos won 24-9 while Gary Best’s triple won 16-7, Melvin Woods’ triple won 18-15 and Simon Willies’ triple won by 13-12 to complete the rout.
