Kerry Greenacre, Joan Cann & Paul Baker stormed to a 25-2 win for Hempnall in their local derby at home to Saxlingham Nethergate. With Charlie Archer’s triple winning 23-3, Gerald Chilvers winning 18-5 & David Blundell winning 16-5 the defending South Norfolk League champions collected a maximum 10-0 win. Saxlingham put in a more competitive performance at home to Horsford Heroes but slipped to an 8-2 defeat as three of the closely fought games went against them. Chris Woodhouse’s 12-9 win for Horsford was the nights biggest win demonstrating just how close all the games were. The next night Horsford travelled to Hingham where they were unable to repeat the previous nights success. Hingham’s John Chapman, Graham Tweed & Mike White beat John Aggas 17-7 as they inspired Hingham to a 10-0 home win. Diss won 8-2 at home to Shropham with Graham Mobbs triple recording a 30-6 win. Steve Easter picked up Shropham’s only points beating Tony Oram 19-9.
