Horsford Heroes are City of Norwich League champions again after a maximum 14-0 home win against Costessey with still a match to play. Carol Aggas, Mally Kemp & Chris Woodhouse scored a 19-3 win for the Heroes. First Bus moved up into second place after a 12-2 win against Jarrolds with Bob Oatway’s triple winning 19-3. Thorpe Marriott suffered a 10-4 defeat at Windows which leaves them two points behind First Bus in the battle for the runner-up place. It was a close match with Windows winning by just one shot. Both Thorpe Marriott and First Bus have one match to play. In the Coastal Cup Group A leaders Woodbastwick Eagles won 11-7 at Gorleston Links Blue while second placed Martham Mallards lost 13-5 at Bradwell Robins. In Group B Woodbastwick Owls made it four straight wins as they scored a 14-4 home win against Gorleston Links Red. Waveney Knock-Out Cup leaders Wortwell won 60-55 at Carlton while second placed Broome won 56-52 at Haddiscoe. Bradwell won 60-56 at Ilketshall in the other game played this week.
