With the top three City of Norwich League teams all still having three matches left to play Horsford Heroes are in the driving seat 14 points clear of second placed First Bus and 20 points ahead of third placed Thorpe Marriott. The Heroes achieved two big away wins with a 12-2 result at Horsford Gold and another 12-2 win at Costessey. John Aggas skipped his Heroes triple to a 19-2 win at Costessey while Chris Woodhouse led the way at Horsford Gold with an 11-6 win. First Bus won 12-2 at home to fourth placed Windows with Bob Oatway’s triple winning 17-6. Thorpe Marriott earned a maximum 14-0 home win against visitors Horsford Blue with Andy George’s triple winning 20-3. Jarrolds kept their hopes of getting themselves off the foot of the table alive with an 11-3 home win against fellow strugglers British Rail.
