The NCSMBA is saddened to report that Margaret Varvel has passed away. Margaret played for, and served as Secretary, of Costessey SMBC for several years and was a well known figure in the early days of the City of Norwich League. She was also a member of the Norfolk Over 60’s and went on several Over 60’s trips with her bowling friends. The NCSMBA send their condolences to Margaret’s family. The photo shown was taken on a Norfolk Over 60's Squad trip many years ago, several of those pictured are sadly no longer with us.
