Thorpe Marriott bounced back from the disappointment of losing their opening home match in the City of Norwich League by pulling off an excellent 12-2 away win at First Bus. Gary Gray, Jack Gray & Tony Turner opened with a 10-6 win against the home triple of Dave Quadling, Lesley Crowe & Steve Hall while Derek Sheldrake’s triple beat David Sharpe’s triple 10-7 to complete an excellent first half. After the break Sylvia Turner, Gerald Potter & Kath Frost beat Linda Tooes, Rex Cox & Bob Oatway 17-5 for the visitors third win of the night. The only home triple to win were Chris Brook’s triple who beat Andy George’s triple 11-10.
