South Norfolk League defending champions Hempnall began the defence of their title with an 8-2 away win at Forncett. With Hempnall fielding a strong side as always Neil Davidson’s triple won 20-10, Keith Cooke’s triple won 16-7 and Paul Baker’s triple won by 16-6. Last season’s runners-up Watton Expendables took maximum points at home to Saxlingham with Pix Hyam, Kacy Suffolk & Simon Willies leading the charge with a 23-6 win. Chloe Suffolk, George Hume & Jack Marshall skipped the other three Expendables triples to wins as the 10-0 win was secured with ease. Harling remain top of the table after winning 8-2 at Mulbarton where Colin Hayman’s triple won 18-8, George Cody’s triple won by 15-8 and Mike Tarrent’s triple won 15-5. But the biggest win of the night was by Martin Pegg’s Mulbarton triple with a 23-7 result to earn their team two consolation points.
A big win for Mulbarton's Martin Pegg but Harling won over-all
