The Falcon Club in Chelmsford hosts the SMPT World Cup and UK Open this weekend. In the World Cup, played on Friday 26th August, Ireland will be seeking a fifth straight victory in the competition. The UK Open will be played over two days, Saturday 27th & Sunday 28th, with seven Norfolk based bowlers taking part. Neil Davidson will be playing in Group 26 where he will meet Ireland’s Mark Beattie who is the defending champion. Other Norfolk players taking part are Jack Pye, Steve Easter, Karl Newby, Simon Warnes, David Blundell & John Jeffery.
