The Breckland League's top club Wymondham continued their journey to what looks another inevitable championship title. A trip to third off the bottom Hingham provided the predictable result despite Wymondham being unable to field a full strength team. Val Vardy, Jon Jeffery and Jon Sparham eased their way to a 27-5 win against Jill Townsend’s triple, David Chadwick, Steve Easter & Melvyn Barker beat Pat Groombridge’s triple 18-5, Hayley Osbourne, Jack Marshall & Chris Mann won 20-12 against Graham Tweed while Billie Barker, Jon Sparham & Simon Warnes won by 18-9 against Mike White. Connaught “A” are in third place, but despite winning 6-4 at Thetford, they lost more ground on the leaders. Mike Minshull’s triple scored Connaught’s biggest win with a 24-4 result. Connaught “B” won 6-4 at Shropham where Moira Eades, Joan Knox & Peter King won 19-6 against Dennis Green’s triple.
