The NCSMBA is sad to learn of the death of former Sprowston SSC bowler Pat Smart who passed away yesterday. Pat will be remembered fondly by City of Norwich League bowlers and members of the Norfolk Over 60’s for the many years she was a familiar and popular figure on the short mat bowls scene. Pat was an active member of her club throughout her playing days. Her early years in short mat bowls were shared with her husband Jimmy Ramsey, then later after Jimmy’s death with her second husband Peter Smart. The NCSMBA send their sincere condolences to Peter and all Pat’s family.
