Gary Best (pictured) of Norfolk & Bob Carter, playing with England team-mates Chris Willies of West Mids & James Smith of Cornwall, reached the final of the ESMBA Open Triples at Tamworth IBC before suffering a 10-5 defeat against Hampshire’s Stephen Bucket, Alistair McCrea & Ben Pay. The ESMBA Triples Plate final saw an all Norfolk clash with Ryan Fox & David Lamb of Halvergate, playing with Bob Carter’s Jason Woods, coming out on top against Simon Willies of East Tuddenham, Melly Woods of Bob Carter & Morgan Warnes of Horsford BC.
