The NCSMBA is saddened to learn that Sally Rawnsley of Shropham Short Mat Bowls Club passed away on Monday evening. Sally had fought her illness valiantly for over a year. As well as club bowls for Shropham, Sally was part of the Norfolk Over 60’s for over eight years attending squad days and also appearing for Norfolk Over 60’s in various matches such as in Yorkshire against Arthur Jackson’s Select. Sally also enjoyed taking part in the Potters East Coast Triples & Pairs Week in May each year. Sally leaves behind husband Andy and two loving daughters. The NCSMBA would like to express their sincere condolences to Andy, their family and friends. The funeral will take place at Breckland Crematorium in Scoulton with refreshments afterwards at Broom Hall in Saham Toney but the date and time will be determined later.
