Deaf Sport on the way up

Deaf Sport moved up to third place in the NCSMBA Summer League after a resounding 8-0 home win against Thorpe Marriott. Rob Cranston, Caroline Mohamad & Robin Amos were in terrific form against Richard Perkins’ triple as they chalked up a huge 27-3 win and then added a 13-11 win against Tony Turner after the break. Gillian Amos, Lewis Cranston & Laura Hawksworth joined in the fun beating Tony Turner’s triple 18-12 and then beating George Clarke by 14-10. Division Two leaders Horsford Heroes brushed aside visitors Shropham to collect an 8-0 home win. Richard Hart, Sue Fox & Jane James won their games by 21-8 & 24-9 while Peter Fox won by 24-8 & 20-9. Shropham also went down 8-0 at Watton where Roger Braham’s triple won by 18-11 & 24-6 and Richard Adams won by 17-10 & 21-8. Its now six games without a win for Windows who went down 6-2 at Hingham. Wendy Tweed, Colin Harris & Keith Thomas scored the biggest win beating Mike Boswell’s triple 21-10 while Eileen Herbert’s triple won 20-12 and G Wilcox won by 18-8. Di Boswell, Brenda Sizer & Keith Halford scored a consolation 14-9 win to pick up Windows only points.
