Horsford Heroes remain top of the City of Norwich League after a 10-4 away win at Jarrolds. The home side, currently sitting one place off the foot of the table, shocked their visitors after winning both first half games. Peter Smart, Roger Hart & David Higgins scored an excellent 16-3 win against David Brown, Roger Frank & David Crosby while David Pearce, Malcolm Skinner & Sheila Andrews beat John Aggas’s triple 12-10. After the break Horsford Heroes staged a comeback with a heavy 20-3 win for Carol Aggas, Mally Kemp & Chris Woodhouse against Anoop Dhesi’s triple and a 16-3 win for Vic Webster’s triple against Tony Moore’s triple earning the six match points. Second placed Thorpe Marriott gained four points on the leaders with a maximum 14-0 home win against British Rail. Jenny Walker, Sylvia Turner & Gerald Potter beat Mark Baker’s triple 22-8 while Gavin Gray, Lesley Turner & Tony Turner won by 21-6 against Caroline Banham’s triple. Other results saw Windows win 10-4 at Costessey while Horsford Gold won 12-2 at home to First Bus.
