The Annual Dave Durrant Memorial Competition was held at Thorpe Marriott on Sunday where Lesley Crowe, David Blundell & Tony Oram, playing under the name Silly Burgers, tasted success with a 9-2 win in the final against Wendy Tweed, Graham Tweed & Keith Thomas of Hingham Yellow. In the semi-finals Oram’s triple beat Colin Harris, Will Townsend & Gordon Wilcox 9-3. Keith Thomas and his triple reached the final with a 13-6 win against Gill Coleman, Morris Taylor & Trish Taylor. The raffle raised £100 which was donated to the Quidenham Hospice (East Anglian Children’s Hospices)
