The England Squad has been selected for the World Championships, which are taking place in Norway in March, and five Norfolk bowlers have been named in the team by England Manager Chris Willies. Wymondham’s Jack Pye and AJ Pye are in Adam Smith’s triple while Bob Carter’s Jason Woods is also in the triples with Jason McLean and Michael Doorey. Bob Carter’s Morgan Warnes and Gary Best are named in a four with Danny Hogben and Jody Frampton. The team was selected after the World Selection Weekend was held at Norfolk’s county venue in Hingham last weekend. The full line-up is as follows: Singles Matty Worden and Ross Dunkley. Pairs Adam Easthope & Nathan Caines, Jim Trott & Sam Harvey. Triples Jason McLean, Michael Doorey & Jason Woods, Jack Pye, AJ Pye & Adam Smith.
