Watton Expendables won 8-2 away to Harling in the South Norfolk League with Joy Townsend, Kacy Suffolk & Chris Willies top scoring with a 20-3 win. Thorpe Marriott are top of the City League after a valuable 10-4 away win at Horsford Gold. Janet Pinchen is continuing to enjoy a great return to league action leading for Gerald Potter and Andy George as they produced a superb 17-1 win while Gavin Gray, Mandy Marshall & Tony Turner added a 14-9 win. Ray Ayres & Chris Walsgrove both skipped their Gold triples to wins but Turner’s big win secured the six match points. Horsford Blue look like they are in for another difficult season after they lost their fifth match in a row going down 11-3 at Costessey. Wendy Tweed, Malcolm Southgate & Graham Tweed led the way for Costessey with a 15-6 win. Its now three wins from four games for First Bus after they won 14-0 at home to British Rail and they now sit third in the table just one point behind Horsford Heroes.
