In the City of Norwich League Horsford Heroes beat Windows 13-1. Lynn Frank, Sue Fox & John Aggas won 21-0 with ex England international Aggas in superb form as he closed the curtains on any hopes Windows had of winning this one. In the Waveney League Haddiscoe enjoyed a convincing 8-1 home win against Ilketshall but then lost 6-3 at Broome, in their previous match Broome had opened their campaign with a 6.5 – 2.5 away win at Carlton. Wortwell top the Waveney after a convincing 8-1 home win against Carlton who have now lost their opening three games of the season. In the South Norfolk League Connaught won their opening match 9-1 against Mulbarton. David Aldous and his triple led the way with a 22-2 win while Martin Pegg’s Mulbarton triple collected their only point with an 11-11 draw against Roy Taylor’s triple. Halvergate entertained Hevingham in both team’s first Bure League games of the season. Halvergate collected all ten points but the visitors will be disappointed not to have taken something out of this match after four competitive games. Breckland League defending champions Wymondham opened their campaign with a 10-0 on points, 113-25 on shots, home win against Forncett who will not be the last team to suffer a huge defeat at Wymondham this season. Connaught “A” beat Connaught “B” 10-0 in their local derby to make it two wins from two games. Carleton Rode also scored a maximum 10-0 win at home to Thetford. A close game saw Forncett win 6-4 at home to Hingham. Bradwell Dynamos won 18-0 at home to Martham and lead local rivals Bradwell Robins by one point. Woodbastwick Owls are third after winning 14-4 at home to Bradwell Robins.
