The ESMBA Open Pairs was played at Solihull IBC where James Trott and Sam Harvey won the final by 9-7 after a tough battle against Darren Brown and Emily Poulter. The first spot earned Trott and Harvey the £200 first prize and a spot at the Worlds Selection Weekend. Norfolk’s AJ Brown & Jack Pye made it to the semi-finals before losing by 8-7 to Brown and Poulter. In the other semi-final Trott and Harvey beat John Lax and Alex Kley 9-7.
