Words alone cannot express the great sadness that short mat bowlers in Norfolk will feel on hearing of the death of both Morris Taylor and Mike Greenacre, both members of the Norfolk Over 60’s Squad. As all their bowling friends will agree, Morris and Mike were two of the nicest gentlemen on the short mat bowls scene and they will be greatly missed by all their many friends in the sport. We will all cherish the wonderful memories we have of Morris and Mike and of the times we spent with them. Morris is at peace after a long illness while Mike’s death was unexpected. Morris was registered with Diss while Mike was registered with Hempnall although both had also played for other teams in Norfolk as well. The NCSMBA wish to express their deepest sympathy to Trish and Kerry on their loss, your bowling friends are all thinking of you at this sad, sad time.
