With the cross border Waveney League at its halfway stage Broome lead the way after a 7-2 home win against Bradwell in an all Norfolk clash. Suffolk club Carlton, one of only two Suffolk teams now competing in the league, won 5-4 at both Earsham and Ilketshall to move into second place just five points behind Broome.
