In Memory of Carol Kemp
It is with great regret that Horsford Heroes SMBC belatedly inform you that our fellow club member and friend Carol Kemp died on Christmas Day 2021 following a long illness.
Carol was a founder member of the Horsford Heroes SMBC which was established in 1993. She often led and also took an active part in organising club social events. Carol also served on the Committee as Treasurer .
Prior to joining Horsford Heroes Carol and her husband Mally played for a number of years with the Bob Carter SMBC under the Captaincy and leadership of the late George Clarke.
In the latter years Carol, along with husband and friends enjoyed attending the May time East Coast triples at Potters and along with many others had been due to attend the May 2019 event, which was cancelled due to the Pandemic. Although she wouldn’t have been fit enough to play she was looking forward to attending as a spectator this coming May.
Carol will be sadly missed by all Horsford Heroes SMBC members.
Our thoughts are with her husband Mally; son Mark and his family; and daughter Tracey.
