There will be an extra Norfolk Over 60’s Squad Day this Thursday, 30th December, for anyone wishing for a day of short mat bowling at Hingham Sports and Social Club. Bowlers are asked to arrive by 9.30am for a 10am start. Over 60’s Organiser Teresa Goldsmith reminds all Norfolk short mat bowlers that the Squad Days are open to all registered NCSMBA bowlers aged 60 or above and a warm welcome is always extended to anyone who wishes to attend. The playing fee remains at £5 for a day’s bowling that includes all teas, coffees and biscuits throughout the morning. Three sessions of nine end games are played in the morning and many bowlers choose to stay on for an extra optional session in the afternoon. If you have not been before take a trip to Hingham this Thursday morning for a pleasant day of social bowling.
