A short ESMBA EGM held at Tamworth agreed the Association’s accounts for 2017/18 and appointed the auditors for 2018/19. The disputed extra wording in section 4a of the ESMBA Constitution referring to “clubs” was removed as it was agreed there was no knowledge of how the wording had been added. Clubs were members of their County Associations not the ESMBA. There had been a concern raised by Norfolk CSMBA that the disputed adding of the word “clubs” in section 4a would have raised the possibility of a yearly subscription being charged for clubs for ESMBA membership.
