Watton Expendables visited Forncett knowing that nothing less than a 10-0 win would keep their SNL title hopes alive. But it was not to be as Forncett’s Martin Humphreys, Gill Coleman & Becky Humphreys beat Watton’s Jack Marshall, Kacy Suffolk & Chris Willies 12-10 in the second half to restrict the visitors to an 8-2 away win. Becky Humphreys has been in super form again and will be delighted to have gained this result against an all Norfolk County Team triple. The result leaves Hempnall celebrating yet another SNL title after a season in which newcomers Expendables pushed them all the way. The Watton side beat Forncett in the other three games played, with Robin Amos winning 29-7, Jack Marshall winning 14-9 and George Hume’s triple winning 17-8.
