In what could prove to be a vital South Norfolk League away win Watton Expendables came away from defending champions Hempnall with an 8-2 victory. Pix Hyam, George Hume & Jack Marshall led the way with a 15-9 win, Chris Willies’ triple won 13-8 and Simon Willies’ triple won 13-12. The only home triple to win were Colin Stevenson, Joan Cann & Paul Baker who edged their way to a 14-13 win against Robin Amos. Forncett won 8-2 at home to Harling with Mark Watson, Nigel Youngman & Joe Li Rocchi winning 30-10. Harling also went down 9-1 at Connaught where Jenny Moon, Malcolm Southgate & Roy Taylor won by 21-8. Harling did much better at Saxlingham with an 8-2 win led by Barbara Smith, Jill Hayman & Colin Hayman who won by 18-7.
