Bure Cup holders Bob Carter gained revenge for their 3-0 defeat at Watton Expendables last week by scoring a maximum 5-0 home win against Expendables in the return fixture. Bob Carter got off to a great start putting together an 18 shot interval lead to put Expendables under pressure. The all Norfolk team triple of Alfie Woods, Morgan Warnes & AJ Pye beat Chris Willies’ triple 17-10 while Jean Woods, Nigel Willard & Jason Woods beat George Hume’s triple 18-. The Expendables were hoping for better things after the break but it was not to be as Carter continued to dominate the proceedings. Melly Woods, Simon Warnes & Jack Pye stormed to a 24-11 win against Simon Willies’ triple and Gavin Gray, Gerald Potter & Gary Best completed a perfect night for Carter with a 26-14 win against Robin Amos’s triple. The 43 shot victory earned Carter the maximum 5-0 win in a competition where shots are everything.
AJ Pye, Alfie Woods & Morgan Warnes of Carter won 17-10
