The NCSMBA are saddened to learn of the passing of former Norfolk Treasurer Jill Watson on the 2nd of January. Jill served as NCSMBA Treasurer from 2003 to the beginning of 2017 while a member of the now defunct Kirby Bedon club. Jill also served as an officer for many years on league committees such as the City League, Bure League and Tens League as well as Secretary of Kirby Bedon SMBC. A member of the Norfolk County Squad for several years, Jill Watson played lead in the Kirby Bedon four that won the Norfolk County Fours title four times in a five year period starting in 2001/02 that comprised of Teresa Goldsmith, Phil Watson & Selwyn Goldsmith. Jill won many trophies as part of the highly successful Kirby Bedon side that culminated in them lifting the inaugural ESMBA National Club Championship title. The NCSMBA would like to express their condolences to Jill’s husband Phil and the family.
