Cambs Seniors lead after first leg

Norfolk Over 60’s kept things tight in the first leg of their latest challenge match away to Cambridgeshire Seniors last Thursday. They now have a four point deficit to overcome when the return leg is played at Hingham. At the halfway stage, after three sessions, Cambs led by 14-10 on points. The second half of the match was shared leaving Cambs with a 26-22 points lead to defend in the second leg scheduled for November 13th. Shots wise Norfolk have the edge scoring 186 shots against the home teams 179. Andy George, Graham Mobbs & David Aldous were Norfolk’s best triple on the day reeling off three straight wins of 9-3, 12-6 & 11-3.
