Wymondham returned to winning ways with a 10-0 home win against title rivals Carleton Rode in the Breckland League. Going into the match Carleton Rode knew that a maximum win would move them top of the table but Wymondham give little away on their own mats and proved too hot to handle for the visitors. Hayley Osbourne, John Jeffery & Chris Mann led the way with a 28-5 win while Jack Pye’s triple won 24-7. Debbie Sparham’s triple won by 24-10 and Jon Sparham’s triple won by 15-10. Connaught “B” entertained Thetford in a game that saw both teams produce two solid wins but a better shot total saw the home side collect the match points for a 6-4 win. Connaught “B” fared less well at Hingham where they suffered an 8-2 defeat with Hingham’s Pam Chapman, John Chapman & Graham Tweed winning their game by 32-2. The weeks other games saw Harling Griffins score a maximum 10-0 home win against Shropham while Forncett also beat Shropham 10-0.
