Donna Lamb, Ryan Fox & David Lamb of Halvergate and Thorpe Marriott’s Jenny Walker won Norfolk’s National Mixed Fours qualifier for the third time in a row at Hingham Sports & Social Club. With only four rinks entering they reeled off three wins to easily make it through yet again with a maximum six points. The other three rinks all earned two points each with second place decided on shot difference followed by shots for. Shropham’s Andy Rawnsley, Chris Bailey, Elaine Aberdeen & Richard Broad finished on minus 8 shots as did Forncett’s Mike Smail, Jan Smail, Gill Coleman & Tony Ottewell. But with Shropham scoring a total of 28 shots for and Forncett scoring 25 shots for it will be Shropham heading for the finals in Solihull with David Lamb’s rink. Jenny Walker has now won the Mixed Fours Qualifier eight times, David Lamb seven times, Donna Lamb five times and Ryan Fox three times.
