A 6-4 away win for Diss at Shropham Red gives them an eight point lead at the top of the Winter Afternoon League. Jill Davidson, Gill Coleman & Russell Davidson led the way with a 21-5 win while David Kerslake, Tony Oram & Graham Mobbs won 13-11. Shropham Red skips Richard Broad and Andy Rawnsley won their games for the home side. Shropham Red returned to winning ways with a 6-4 away win at Hingham four days later with Moira Stevens, Kathy Girling & Richard Broad winning 12-11 and Moira Stevens, Elaine Aberdeen & Malcolm Southgate winning 16-8. Mike White and Mike Ottaway were Hingham’s winning skips.
