Haddiscoe’s 5-4 result at Ilketshall takes them to the top of the Waveney League just 0.5 of a point ahead of Kessingland who won 6-3 at home to Wortwell. Broome will be pleased with a 6-3 home win against last weeks leaders Bradwell while Earsham also won 6-3 at home to Carlton who are bottom of the table. Carlton are the only team in the Waveney to have lost their opening two fixtures this season.
