Go for Gold

Defending City of Norwich League champions Horsford Gold have made a tremendous start to the new season reeling off four straight 12-2 wins. A home win against Framingham Earl followed a similar result at home to Taverham and away wins at both First Bus and Jarrolds. Another team with four wins under their belts are Horsford Heroes who won 12-2 at home to First Bus. Deaf Sports also look set for a good season, they won 10-4 at Costessey which followed wins against County Council and British Rail to make it a hat-trick of wins. After losing their first three fixtures British Rail got back on track with a solid 12-2 home win against Thorpe Marriott. Other early season results include a 12-2 home win for Windows against British Rail, a 10-4 win for Jarrolds at Horsford Blue and a 12-2 home win for Thorpe Marriott against Framingham Earl. It has been a less than successful start to the season for Horsford Blue who have lost their opening three games as have County Council and both teams are level on six points each at the foot of the table.
