Teresa and Selwyn receive life memberships at NCSMBA AGM

Teresa and Selwyn Goldsmith were given framed life memberships at the NCSMBA AGM on Sunday 24th June at the Wymondham Community Centre given to them by President and vice President Brian Saunders and Bob Oatway. This marked both the couples hard work they put in for the association with them both holding various positions on the committee for well over twenty years. Since becoming chairman in 1996/97, Selwyn has always worked his hardest in making the association a success and making sure it runs as smoothly as possible. From visiting clubs and trying to promote the sport in various ways he has always adopted a lot of his own time and his passion is clear for everyone to see. For the past six season's Selwyn was also county team manager and saw Norfolk win the ICC for only the second time in the 2015/16 season defeating Essex in the final. He was given a commemorative county team shirt to celeberate his success over his tenure. Simon Willies will now take over from Selwyn as county team manager with Keith Cooke his assistant. Brian Saunders is another person who has committed a lot of his time to the association giving help and guidance when needing to the committee and has also held various roles but after nearly fifteen years has stepped down as vice chairman and after filling in the assistant treasurer's role for two years steps down as well. Simon Willies now takes on the role of vice chairman with Elaine Willies being elected to assistant treasurer.
