Halvergate continued their pursuit of the Bure League title with a comfortable 10-0 home win against Windows. Donna Lamb, Nigel Willard & Simon Warnes opened with a 22-8 win against Mick Harris and Josh Baxter, Robbie Lamb & Jason Woods added a 20-7 win against Diane Boswell. Ray Lamb, Steven Lamb & Morgan Warnes beat Andy Drummie’s triple 20-11 and Mike Tate, Jackie Smith & David Lamb completed the whitewash beating Keith Halford’s triple 24-8. Woodbastwick will be more than happy with a 9-1 home win against Hevingham. Lianne Mills opened with a 17-10 win against David Sharpe but Hevingham’s Steve Hall held home skip Derek Sheldrake to a 13-13 draw. The second half though saw Woodbastwick take control with ex Coltishall captain Willie Jefferies storming to a 20-6 win against Maurice Kemp while Peter Jablonowski’s triple beat Alan Bunn 12-9.
