Bob Carter turned up the heat on Tens League leaders Hempnall with away wins at both Halvergate & Kirby Bedon. At Halvergate Jamie Forster & Gary Best led the way for Carter with a thumping 22-5 win against Donna & David Lamb but a 22-10 win for Mike Tate, Steven Lamb & Morgan Warnes against Elaine Willies, Rob Howlett & John Turner limited the damage to 3-0. That was the same score Carter had to settle for at Kirby Bedon despite all four games going Carter’s way. The home side kept the score down on all mats leaving Carter just three shots short of their target to gain a maximum 4-0 win.
