Entry forms for the 2022/23 Norfolk County Championships/National Championships have now been sent to the secretaries of all affiliated Norfolk clubs by the Competition Secretary Mike Smail. If any clubs have not received their entry forms within the next few days please contact Mike Smail to make him aware. His contact details can be found on the Management page of the Norfolk website. Club Secretaries should ensure that all their members are aware of the competitions which they are all entitled to enter. Success in the Norfolk County Championships earns bowlers a place in the National Championships and winners of the County Championships also earn an invite into the Norfolk Squad for the following season. The first event will be the Norfolk County Fours on Saturday 10th September with the Norfolk County Triples taking place on Sunday 11th September. The Norfolk County Pairs will take place on Sunday 9th October and the Norfolk County Singles will be played on Sunday 27th November. The Norfolk County Mixed Fours will be played on Saturday 17th December. On Sunday 18th December the Norfolk heats of the Over 55 Pairs National qualifier and the Under 18’s National Singles qualifier are to be played. All Norfolk events will again take place at Hingham Sports & Social Club. The finals of the National Mixed Fours are on Saturday 25th February with the Over 55 Pairs on Sunday 26th February, both events will be held at Solihull IBC. The National Singles finals are on Thursday 30th March, the Pairs on Friday 31st March, the Fours on Saturday 1st April and the Fours on Sunday 2nd April with all these events being played at Melton Mowbray IBC. The Under 18’s finals will also be played at Melton Mowbray on Saturday 15th April.
