Norfolk “A” will face London in the quarter-finals of the ESMBA Inter-County “A” Team Championships on Sunday at Daventry Eagles Indoor Bowls Club. In their preliminary round match at the weekend London beat Oxfordshire “A” by 23-17 on points, 217-168 on shots. While Norfolk “A” won their group London qualified in second place in Group 7 finishing 3 points ahead of third placed Hertfordshire after winning just two games from six. With regular singles player Mike Boswell out injured some changes have been made but Norfolk’s form this season should give them confidence in their ability to progress into the semi-final stage.
