Norfolk “A” travelled to Bedfordshire today for their I.C.C “A” Team Consolation quarter-final tie against Wiltshire which was played at a neutral venue, Bridgmans Bowls Club in Harold, Bedford. Norfolk “A” made the journey worthwhile coming away with a 27-21 over-all points win to progress into the semi-finals of the competition. Norfolk went into the final session needing to collect five points from the possible twelve up for grabs and did more than enough as they earned seven points. Maximum points in the match were earned by David Dewing, Tony Ottewell, Jenny Walker and Mike Tate.
