The ESMBA has announced that Stephen McAlister has been appointed as the new England Team manager. It is an appointment that will be well received throughout the world of short mat bowls. England has failed to achieve an acceptable level of success in recent years and if anyone can improve England’s success rate it is surely Steve McAlister who has a formidable record as a player and achieved almost legendary status in the sport. The Norfolk CSMBA would like to congratulate Steve on his appointment.
